Not So Wiseguy

Falling for the off-limits mafia mistress was never a part of my survival plan.

Our love is the ultimate crime in a world where loyalty means everything.

When her boyfriend, don Alberto Ricci, finds out I touched her, I’ll be dead.

Taken from my hotel room by force and thrown into a Mexican prison cell.

I’m all alone.

My skills as a top neurosurgeon are the reason for my kidnapping. My daily goals are to follow the rules, care for my VIP patient, and get out of here alive.

Until … I find her sleeping in my bed. She’s a beautiful woman with raven hair and big green eyes. And that body? The lack of clothing has her walking around in almost nothing.

It’s a struggle to stay just friends.

Why just friends? She belongs to one of the most powerful mob bosses in Chicago. The cartel kidnapped her to rein him in. Now we’re cellmates, the attraction deepens every day.

There’s no telling how long I can hold out.

I’m only human.
